Hair Removal Scams — It’s in the EULA

I received a comment regarding the Boston School of Electrolysis Hair Removal EULA — and then learned this is a pattern and a trend (probably not unique to hair removal either).

Thanks to Hairfacts for providing another example:

Company: Global Electrolysis Supply
Product: Hair removal scams of every stripe.
Lowpoints: The site owner, Ron Mucha, is one of the biggest purveyors of unproven hair rmeoval prducts in the world. The terms are hidden away but are very funny when read. 3600 words of nonsense like:

By using and/or viewing this site you represent and warrant under penalty of perjury the following: You are not directly or indirectly associated with the USFTC, USPS, USFDA, USFCC, or other governing agency.

Highpoints: Most people realize from the EULA that this is a scam site.

Readers: please comment and feel free to contribute your own tale of EULA/waiver/consent astonishment via email or this form.

A scam is a dishonest attempt to get your your money by making false claims or by failing to deliver the goods promised.
First, it is important to do a little research on the company name promoting the product, and see if there are any negative comments on the internet. Fitness Gym

True statement on what is a scam. I think that I can seperate honest sites and scam ones, at least I hope so. I have a few techniques I go through before deciding is a website and the company associated with it honest or a scam project.

Hair loss or Alopecia is a problem most of us are facing on a daily basis. Some studies say that men tend to "get" balder faster or that stress contributes to this problem or plainly we're just born with it - carried by genes that is. Nevertheless when it comes to hairloss or caderea parului we have to agree that women suffer the most and spend up a fortune to get rid of this problem. The thing is most products aren't even half good as they are marketed so what's a woman to do ? I think that natural remedies (using eggs and aloe vera) can help your hairloss problem but if people don't start eating and living healthy there's no stop to this issue.

Hair removal is one of those areas where the scum of the earth play on our emotions to try and get us to buy their products and services. Of course we’d all like to have smooth beautiful hair-free skin and we’d like to achieve it quickly, painlessly and permanently, not to mention at low cost. But those solutions DO NOT EXIST. Believe me I have looked. Joanne
  • Something never heard about such organisation.
But there can be it and really is worthy.

Going for laser hair treatment is not like going for a facial and massage or getting highlights at the salon. It is a medical procedure in many ways which can be likened to cosmetic surgery, although thankfully there is no knife or incision.Alcoholism Rehab
