Hair Removal Scams — It’s in the EULA
I received a comment regarding the Boston School of Electrolysis Hair Removal EULA — and then learned this is a pattern and a trend (probably not unique to hair removal either).
Thanks to Hairfacts for providing another example:
Company: Global Electrolysis Supply
Product: Hair removal scams of every stripe.
Lowpoints: The site owner, Ron Mucha, is one of the biggest purveyors of unproven hair rmeoval prducts in the world. The terms are hidden away but are very funny when read. 3600 words of nonsense like:
By using and/or viewing this site you represent and warrant under penalty of perjury the following: You are not directly or indirectly associated with the USFTC, USPS, USFDA, USFCC, or other governing agency.
Highpoints: Most people realize from the EULA that this is a scam site.
Readers: please comment and feel free to contribute your own tale of EULA/waiver/consent astonishment via email or this form.
